No Surprises Act Notice

Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 – Effective January 1, 2022), you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate (GFE)” explaining the expected cost of your mental health care services.

If you are uninsured or not using insurance (self-pay), Ironwood Therapeutic Wellness, PLLC will provide a written estimate of expected charges for your therapy services before your scheduled appointment.

Your Rights

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service.

• You can request a GFE at any time, even if you haven’t scheduled an appointment yet.

• If you receive a bill that is $400 or more higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the charge.

Typical Session Fees

• Individual Therapy: $150 per 50-minute session

• Sliding Scale (as available)

A personalized Good Faith Estimate will outline the estimated total cost for your anticipated number of sessions based on your treatment plan.
